Sebastian Tounekti and Hyunjun Yang have been named in their respective national squads for this summer’s World Cup.

The Celtic duo — more often than not the two starting wingers this season — both divide opinion.

But they now have the opportunity to showcase their talents on the biggest stage of all: Tounekti in Group B with Tunisia, Yang in Group B with South Korea.

Also in the South Korea squad along with Yang is ex-Celtic striker Hyeongyu Oh, whose stock has risen exponentially since leaving Glasgow.

Peter Grant on Celtic’s wingers: Sebastian Tounekti and Hyunjun Yang

Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show on Friday, Peter Grant compared the two Celtic wingers ahead of today’s title decider, saying: “Well, to be fair, I thought Tounekti was much more positive the other night [vs Motherwell], when he got the ball.

“He lost it a few times, yes, but I thought him and [Kieran Tierney] had a good balance.

“I thought Yang and Johnston didn’t have a good balance. They were getting in each other’s road, Nygren was going out there.

“But I thought Tounekti was a lot more positive the other evening. Yes, there was a few times, he’s passed the ball inside.

“I think James [Forrest] is obviously at that stage. I think James puts them on the back foot. You know what Hearts are going to do. You know that Hearts are going to be very direct and whatever.

“So what you’re going to ask James Forrest to do is defend. To drop back in as soon as the Hearts goalkeeper is kicking it long.

“The central defenders are going to be kicking it into channels to make you turn. And that’s not being disrespectful, that’s how he’s going to be getting the best out of Braga and that.

“So you don’t want to keep James Forrest at right-back. You need to keep his energy, I believe, because that’s definitely what Hearts are going to do in the game.

“Then, I think, there’s a possibility that you maybe need James to stop Hearts playing forward, so he can go quicker at the opposition.”
