Former Celtic favourite Mikael Lustig has been having a bit of fun at home during the recent suspension of football in Europe, taking an alternative approach to the ongoing stay at home toilet paper challenge.

Footballers around the world have been taking part, attempting to do keepy ups with a roll of toilet paper, before nominating some of their famous pals.

Lustig though took a trademark humorous slant, tying his roll to a piece of string and appearing to a variety of unlikely tricks, after being challenged by former Hoops loan star John Guidetti.

Lustig, though a fierce competitor and popular player, was never the most skilful player at Celtic Park, so it’s perhaps not a surprise to see him use amusingly underhanded means to get the job done.

The 33-year-old Sweden international left the Bhoys last summer to join Belgian side Gent and before the shutdown had made 30 appearances for them this season.

Helping them into the group stages of the Europa League through qualifying, he would go on to start all of their group matches and the last 32 defeat to Roma.

Football in Belgium though is on hold until at least May 1st due to the ongoing public health crisis, so we can perhaps expect more at-home antics from Lustig in the coming weeks.

These fans were amused by his latest video, taking to Twitter over the last 48 hours to share their thoughts…
