Some Celtic fans have been reacting to the news that former boss Neil Lennon fancies a crack at Israeli football.
Yes, Lennon and Israel may not be the combo you were expecting to read about today, but it’s all true.
As we’ve been covering today, Lennon has been speaking to Israeli outlet Sport 5 about a number of issues, including his willingness to manage in the country.

“Yes absolutely,” he said, when asked if he’d be open to working in Israel.
“For a start, Israel is a very beautiful country. I have a great affiliation with Israel.
“I watched the big teams in Israel like Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Beer Sheva, even MS Ashdod.
“I love the quality of football, I think there is potential.
“I spent all my life in the UK, I was a coach and player and I would love a new challenge. Every other country on my list. “
Celtic fans are skeptical of Lennon Israel comments
Unsurprisingly, Lennon’s comments have some Celtic fans feeling a little skeptical.
Lennon would be free of baggage in Israel
Lennon is clearly interested in finding his next job.
He probably realises that his reputation in this country has been damaged by recent roles at Celtic and Hibernian.
Perhaps an Israeli club will take a punt on him. He does have a reasonably impressive track record.
But most of those successes are many years ago now.
