Some Celtic fans have been left angry by Premier Sports’ reveal that tomorrow’s game won’t be on live TV.
The TV company had been advertising Celtic’s Champions League qualifiers as a reason to subcribe to their channel over the summer. Fans have since splashed out around £12-per-month to watch their club take on their European foes (Premier Sports TV).

The European qualifiers have been Premier Sports’ main attraction this summer. But Celtic apparently won’t be shown live in Estonia against Nomme Kalju tomorrow night. According to the channel’s schedule, matches such as Crusaders vs Wolves and Progres Niederkorn vs Rangers will be shown this week in the Europa League.
Celtic supporters haven’t been impressed with the scheduling. And, when questioned about it on social media, this was Premier Sports’ response:
So the reason for the no-show is the fact that they failed to agree a fee with the rights holder in Estonia. It’s the kind of information that supporters are supposed to suck up and accept.
But there’s no denying there’s some poor work going on here. Celtic supporters have stuck their hands in their pockets expecting to see the full second-round qualification tie with Nomme Kalju. That’s effectively what Premier Sports have been advertising throughout the summer.
And, reacting to the news, here’s a look at what some of the fans have been saying on social media.

Celtic fans have been let down by Premier Sports
It doesn’t matter if the tie is dead, Celtic supporters want to see their team regardless of the situation. Being told that they’ll be viewing their side in Europe before not agreeing a fee to broadcast one of the matches is a poor show from Premier.
There’s now no live football on the channel tomorrow evening. Celtic fans will have to find an alternative way to watch the game. The club’s official channel, Celtic TV, may be the only option should they show the contest live.

Celtic go into the game tomorrow night with a 5-0 advantage over the Estonians. Supporters certainly won’t be fearing an overturn in the aggregate score, but it’s the final stop before the domestic action gets underway this Saturday. Confidence is a necessity heading into Saturday.
But fans will have learned a fine lesson this summer from Premier Sports’ failure to deliver. Come next season, many will perhaps think twice about whether to subscribe again.
