Dembele might not pull on the dark blue of Scotland at the national stadium, but he will play in hoops.

Supporters will be able to see for themselves if Dembele is close to the first team as well as his abilities off the ball.

Both squads are strong and with key players so it will be an interesting affair.

Unfortunately, average fans are not able to attend due to trouble at previous youth derby finals.

However, the BBC will be showing the tie tonight, so sit back and enjoy the action from Scotland’s youth talents.

Scotland left in cold by Karamoko Dembele

It isn’t an official declaration by any means but to any normal minded person Dembele has made up his mind and chose to represent England.

England are constantly in tournaments and more often than not Dembele appears to be with them.

The Celtic reserve attacker is having his breakthrough season in that squad and it’s only a matter of time before he moves up again.

Scotland don’t appear to have a sniff despite the youngster playing for the U16 and U17 sides.

The Tartan Army senior team don’t look to be going anywhere, while England were World Cup semi-finalists.

Perhaps this is swaying Dembele’s thinking as he is destined to reach the top.

He is also eligible to represent the Ivory Coast through his heritage but hasn’t done so yet.

Hoops fans will be eager to see the wee man they’ve watched on YouTube play for the first team.
