Celtic will face Rangers at Ibrox in the final Glasgow Derby match of the season.

With the league done and dusted, many will view this fixture as a bit of a dead rubber but there is no doubt that every Celtic supporter will want to see Brendan Rodgers mastermind a win.

The last time the two clubs met at Ibrox in January, there were no away fans allowed admission as Celtic suffered a defeat.

However, now that Celtic fans will be allowed into Ibrox for the first time in over two years, those travelling to Ibrox have been sent important information from the Celtic Supporter’s Liaison Officer.

Celtic SLO’s important Ibrox message to fans

Safety of the supporters is of paramount importance for Celtic and in the days leading up to the big Rangers clash at Ibrox the SLO has sent out an important message to those fans heading to south side of Glasgow.

Celtic SLO tweeted, “This weekend fans who have a valid match ticket are requested to gather at Broomloan Coach Park from 09:30 with a view to being in the Stadium around 10:30.

“Coach Park on Broomloan Rd will be for Supporters Coaches only Ticket checks will be in place on approach to the Stadium.”

Some fans expressed concern that the safety nets that were a pre-requisite for fans returning to the stadium were down.

And in a follow-up tweet, the SLO said, “There will be nets in place at either side same as at Celtic Park.”

What happened the last time Celtic fans were allowed inside Ibrox

The last time Celtic and Rangers met and the Parkhead support were allowed inside Ibrox, a classic Glasgow Derby game was delivered.

Daizen Maeda terrorised James Tavernier at the beginning of the game and Kyogo Furuhashi haunted Rangers once again.

Ange Postecoglou delivered a treble this season as Rangers once again ended their campaign empty handed but many fans will want Rodgers’ team to go one step further.

Many fans will want the win and those heading to Ibrox will be confident the Celtic boss will get it.
