As Celtic make their big summer transfer move for Adam Idah, it seems that weeks of patience by the fans is now starting to pay off.

It would have been easy for the Celtic support to become frustrated and by all accounts, many seemed to be at the lack of activity by the club.

But as we told earlier, Celtic have now made an official approach for Norwich City striker, Adam Idah.

Sky Sports posted on social media channel X, that Celtic have made their move and the Hoops fans have responded with a wave of positivity.

Celtic fans delighted with Idah approach

Idah was a real star for Celtic in the final half of the season as his nine goals helped seal the league title and the Scottish Cup win over Rangers.

And now that the club have officially made an approach to Carrow Road for the Republic of Ireland international, the message is clear for the support:

One Celtic fan said there was one special goal that earned Idah his move to Paradise, “Yes for that goal alone in the Scottish Cup.

And whilst this Celtic fan was delighted, he has urged the club not to stop there:

And another simply said:

Another Hoops supporter continued, “Come on bring the bhoy home” whereas another Celtic fan urged the club not to play hardball for the 22-year-old, “Finally a bit of transfer news. Hopefully, they haven’t sent a lowball offer and just get this one over the line.

It seems that this piece of news has gone down well with the Celtic supporters and who can blame them?

At a time when it looked like Celtic’s title defence was floundering, Idah popped up with huge goals against Hibs, Rangers and Motherwell in the SPFL and crowned off his loan spell with that fantastic Scottish Cup winner.

Hopefully, the deal won’t take too long to conclude and there are more positive transfer updates to come real soon for the Celtic fans as the season kick-off nears.
