Celtic fans have been warned that they may be asked to leave if they enter the home end during their Europa League last 32 away clash against Copenhagen.
Neil Lennon’s men take on the Danish champions at the 38,000 Parken Stadium on February 20th with the return leg a week later in Glasgow.
And with the Danes set to sell out their arena for the first leg, there doesn’t look to be too much scope for Hoops fans hoping to squeeze into the home section.

The Daily Record have run some quotes from Copenhagen director of brand marketing and development, Jacob Lauesen.
He says: “We are very pleased with the huge amount of interest in the game. Sales have gone well so far and we enter the New Year with 30,000 tickets gone already.
“So far we have only sold tickets to those who have previously bought a seat for our matches, which is to ensure as little mixing between fans of both clubs as possible.
“Celtic fans can only purchase tickets through their own club. Any away fans found trying to enter or in the home sections of the stadium may be asked to leave.”

Celtic fans will pack both games against Copenhagen
Celtic fans haven’t had to sweat too much to see any of our Europa League games so far this season. There were plenty of empty seats in our away games to AIK, Lazio and Cluj while Rennes also failed to fully sell-out their stadium for their game against us.
That looks like it’s about to change though with Copenhagen not far from securing a full house. That means that those Celtic supporters unlucky in the ballot will have to make do with watching the game on the television.

But the reverse will be the case a week later as we take them on in the second leg. Celtic Park will be packed to the rafters and Copenhagen supporters will have to make do with their allocation of around 3,000 or so (as per UEFA’s 5% rule).
It’s shaping up to be a cracking couple of matches.
