The famous Celtic Park disco lights made their debut last night before the Europa League tie with RB Leipzig.
The Celtic victory was vital for a few reasons, none more so than the illumination show before the game.
The big summer signing, costing the club a cool £2-4million, has waited patiently for the chance to shine.

Much has been made of the new lights, with Celtic fans criticising the club for not spending the money on a player.
However, after last night’s performance, the disco lights have been giving a thumbs up on twitter.
MORE CELTIC STORIES
Even last night’s opponents, Leipzig revealed they were affected by the disco lights.
A Celtic fan was quick to point to the criticism Peter Lawwell faced in the summer.
The much anticipated disco lights showing certainly made for a perfect atmosphere at Celtic Park.
This fan however, had one small suggestion for the Celtic Park DJ to consider.
You can’t please everyone sadly. Despite the overwhelming positive reaction to the show, one fan wasn’t as upbeat as the rest of the support.
Lighting up the night
On the park however, it was the Celtic team who really lit the night up.
The disco lights added to the enjoyment and the atmosphere of what will become a special night for Celtic fans in years to come.
And that’s what the Celtic board intended when they forked out for the new lighting system in the summer.
Anything that adds to the enjoyment and match day experience for Celtic fans has to be welcomed.
And we’re all already dreaming of a lights show after another victory over Rangers.
