On a Tuesday afternoon, Celtic fans were treated to one of the best moves they’re likely to see in some time, with Kyogo finding the target for a goal against Ferencvaros.
Honestly? Ask any Celtic writer with any degree of seriousness, and they’d offer to write a book on it.
At the time, it looked phenomenal. From Adam Montgomery defending on the Celtic byline, the ball advances to Jota. The Portuguese winger controls it, gets his head up, and finds Kyogo on a trademark run.

The pass is just exquisite. Inch perfect, maybe even millimetre perfect. Kyogo caresses it with an incredible first touch, then slots it past a despairing keeper.
Live, it looked incredible. But from the Celtic Unique Angle? Even better.
The Unique Angle has come under a bit of criticism since its introduction, but the extra camera has essentially paid for itself by now. Celtic fans just cannot get enough of Tuesday afternoon’s goal. A bit like sharing a picture of a celebrating Ange Postecoglou after a win, it was a home run for the Bhoys’ media team this morning
Go on, watch it again [Celtic TV].
Needless to say, it’s been an absolute hit with supporters.
The Unique Angle shows the sheer technique. The absolutely frightening accuracy of the pass from Jota, how Kyogo sets himself up. Neither player has any right whatsoever to make it look that simple.
Perhaps we’re getting carried away with it all, but isn’t it just Ange-ball distilled? From a defensive scenario, the ball gets up the park and we score in almost surreal fashion.
Celtic fans can’t get enough of Kyogo goal against Ferencvaros
We’re a vocal fanbase, it has to be said. That’s both online and offline, but in this case, it’s Celtic Twitter being excellent.
On Tuesday, it was the supporters in person. Just listen to the roar as fans see the pass Jota could be about to make. Let alone the celebrations when the ball hits the back of the net.
If you want to see a support buying into their manager’s outlook, and absolutely adoring their players, look no further.
