Celtic fans have reacted to the youth team’s performance after losing to Rangers in the cup final.
The young Bhoys battled well to come back from a two goal deficit but were ultimately beaten in the end.
In the under-18 team were Karamoko Dembele and Armstrong Oko-Flex.
The two promising Bhoys didn’t get on the scoresheet and others were marked out as better on the night.
Celtic fall to Rangers in youth cup final
Ciaran Dickson opened the scoring for the Gers in the first five minutes.

Not even a minute later they doubled their lead through Adedapo Mebude.
However, Stephen McManus’ Bhoys continued to fight to get back into the game.
They made the breakthrough right away in the second half, scoring two goals before the 50th minute.
Cameron Harper scored first and then Paul Kennedy followed up not long after.
Unfortunately, the good early work in the second half was outdone as Nathan Young-Coombes snatched the win for the Ibrox side.

A late header was ruled out by the assistant as the ball had crossed the line before the cross entered the box.
Some of the ones to watch such as Dembele, Oko-Flex and Liam Morrison were overshadowed by teammates.

Any potential first team call-ups?
Neil Lennon said Dembele may have a chance at the first team before the season ends.
Perhaps it will be too little too late as the team have still to wrap up the league title mathematically.
However, the manager, who was at Hampden for the final, might rethink his earlier comments.

The unspoken talents of Harper may enter the fray much like Kieran Tierney did a few years back.
Thankfully, the youngster is a striker as the Bhoys have been starved of a proper homegrown talent up front for years.
Morrison was subject to speculation of a move away but conceding three goals won’t have impressed his suitors.
It’s too early to say whether this crop will reach the top.
They will need to look up the likes of Tierney, Callum McGregor and James Forrest in order to do that.
