The media team at Celtic Park have certainly bolstered their game in recent years.
Celtic TV is now filled with batches of great content, and the club’s social media activity has also grown rapidly over the last several years.
The club are also now posting their official press conferences on YouTube. As well as that, various exclusive interviews are also free to view for fans on Celtic’s official YouTube channel.
It’s rare that something comes along the Hoops fans don’t particularly like. But many of them weren’t keen on the season-ticket renewal video. You can watch it for yourself below.

So the club seem to have portrayed their players as having supernatural abilities. It’s the kind of cheesy content supporters would either love or hate. But, looking at the replies below, not many have taken to it too well.
Did Brendan take the media team as well then?

One thing you can’t accuse our club’s media team of is becoming stale. Everything from Christmas videos to this year’s season-ticket renewal campaign shows some vibrancy.
It won’t be every year they strike it right. This year does seem a bit too cheesy, but the idea in principle was innovative.
There’s also no denying that the Celtic media team have seriously improved since Gerry McCulloch came in the door. He’s now the club’s Head of Digital Media, and his experience in the industry is showing.
Even the live broadcasts of Celtic matches on Celtic TV has improved tenfold under McCulloch. The former Radio Clyde presenter knows his stuff in this industry, and Celtic are reaping the rewards.
It was only last week that Celtic were ranked eighth in top YouTube views for the month of February. This was from all of the clubs in the United Kingdom. They soared ahead of Glasgow rivals Rangers, and only one club outside of England’s big six were ahead of us.
This video may very well fall flat on its face, but it’s more proof the media team are always looking to be creative. In the long-term, that’s a great asset for the club.
