Celtic fans on social media have been paying tribute to one of the icons of the club. The supporters have been saluting Tommy Burns on the 11th anniversary of his untimely passing away.
Burns was a legend at Celtic as a player, manager and coach. His passing was marked by the Celtic Twitter account.

Burns won countless trophies as a player in his time at Celtic Park. He wasn’t as successful as manager, but he did end Celtic’s six-year trophy drought with a Scottish Cup win in 1995.

He later returned to the club as head of youth development, and worked with former managers Martin O’Neill and Gordon Strachan.
