According to a report in the Scottish Sun, Celtic right-back Hatem Ebd Elhamed is looking for the exit door at Celtic Park.
The Scottish Sun’s exclusive story on Elhamed revealed that Celtic will listen to offers for the Israeli defender. It’s said that due to Covid-19 restrictions, the defender has lacked access to his partner and young child.
It’s entirely understandable that Elhamed would be looking to move home if he’s missing his family. He can’t be happy at Celtic if he feels so distant from the important people in his life.

Entirely understandable on Elhamed’s part
For a while now, we’ve wondered where Elhamed’s head has been. Against A.C. Milan, he looked distracted. In other matches, he’s been off the pace, with lacklustre positioning.
He’s trying his best under difficult circumstances. This year, though, he’s not been the player he was in spells last season.
At least now Celtic fans will understand why that’s the case. But it’s still a huge worry, going into the January transfer window.
With the Israeli now expected to leave, Jeremie Frimpong and Anthony Ralston are our main options at right-back. Frimpong has had an inconsistent season, while Ralston has sadly never looked Celtic calibre.
If Nick Hammond and Neil Lennon didn’t already have a job on their hands, the task just became that bit harder.
