Some Celtic supporters have been reacting to the very real possibility of Mikael Lustig leaving the club. The 32-year-old is expected to end a seven-and-a-half year stay in Glasgow this summer after he spoke about a tough recent period.
Lustig told Sportbladet: “The last few weeks have been tough. Not on the field, but off the pitch.

“I am proud of how I have handled the situation and those closest to me, the players and the leaders at Celtic know what has happened.”
Lustig’s cryptic message was followed by a social media post from his wife Josefin. She posted a photo of herself and the Swedish international on Instagram alongside the caption: “Wherever you go I will follow”.
The 16 time trophy winner’s days at the club do seem to be numbered, and that’s brought out a mixed reaction from sections of the support.

Some didn’t take the news well at all.

Lustig’s departure hasn’t been confirmed but it could be in the next few days. If he does move on then he’ll leave after a period of unprecedented success for the club. He’s been a big part of Celtic for the past seven seasons, and deserves all the plaudits he gets.
