Some Celtic fans have taken to social media to react to Porto’s reportedly renewed interest in Olivier Ntcham.

According to the Scottish Sun, the Frenchman is subject to a £14 million bid. Furthermore, there are suggestions Chancel Mbemba will be going the other way on loan.

This is a potential deal which the club cannot refuse and the fans know it.

Best for both parties

The deal would get Celtic a massive amount of funds for a player not at his best this season. Furthermore, the Hoops will receive a much-needed centre-back at a good age.

The Portuguese giants made a failed bid in the summer for the 22-year-old midfielder.

Instead, the France under-21 international signed a new bumper deal with The Bhoys.

However, performances are well below par this season and not many will turn their nose up at a big money move.

As soon as the news hit late last night, Celtic fans posted their delight on Twitter.

The fans are clear on Ntcham move

Fans seem to be united on where Ntcham’s next destination is.

The money seemed to be enough but with Mbemba included then it is definitely an offer Celtic can’t refuse.

The Hoops have an abundance of options in the middle so the player won’t be a big loss.

It’s up to the two clubs now to decide his fate and Celtic should listen to the fans on this one.
