The performance of Lewis Morgan vs Nomme Kalju has been a subject of conversation for Celtic supporters on social media.
Neil Lennon didn’t start with the former St Mirren man against the Estonian champions. Instead, Morgan was given half an hour as he came on for Leigh Griffiths last night.

It certainly wasn’t a quiet display from the winger either. This was his third competitive outing out of three, as he continues his 100% appearance record in competitive action for Lennon’s Hoops. And, once again, he showed good drive and energy to get to the byline and get some crosses into the penalty area.
Celtic supporters have since been reacting to the display on Twitter. And here, we take a look at what some are saying:

Morgan vs Nomme Kalju was another positive
There comes a point where we just need to accept that we’ve gotten a fine player back from Sunderland. Morgan’s display against Kalju was just what he needed to continue his renaissance in Glasgow.
There is perhaps once concern with his final ball. But perhaps that’s the problem with playing Morgan down the right. He often beat his man easily enough, but then it was just a hit and hope into the box with his weaker right foot. Interestingly, all of Morgan’s crosses with his right peg were low too.

His natural position continues to be down the left. A rivalry with Mikey Johnston for the left-wing spot would certainly bring some energy and verve to the position.
Down the right, Celtic already have James Forrest and Marian Shved available to slug it out. Whilst Morgan can play there, it’s unfair to judge him too much when it’s not really where he prefers to feature.

You have to imagine that Morgan has sealed his place in the starting XI next week in Tallinn regardless. The 5-0 margin of the first-leg victory gives Neil Lennon some leeway to experiment. Giving Morgan a chance down the left could be one option, although getting Johnston some more minutes could also be on the agenda after his injury setback
But, yet again, Morgan never let himself down at Celtic Park. Fans are generally beginning to see that we have something in him right enough. After yet another positive display, it’s fair to say he now has the majority of the support believing in him.
