Celtic vice-captain Callum McGregor had precisely zero fun talking to Celtic TV earlier.
The midfield stalwart looked bereft of confidence and had little in the way of optimism following another bleak draw at home.
McGregor hinted that the Bhoys were tactically under-prepared, with loose passes allowing Livingston to threaten. Up front, there wasn’t much joy, with Tom Rogic starting on his own up front.
The Celtic man said:
“Not good enough. Took far too long to get going in the first half, put ourselves under pressure. [We] didn’t really understand the game in terms of build-up, we put ourselves under pressure giving them territory. That’s what they want.
“They felt good about themselves, they’ve won a lot of games recently. They understand the game, they run forward, they use their presence, they run off the ball, and that’s all the basics of the game.
“We have to turn them, start getting a bit of territory. We see at times that when you get bits of play through them, you get chances. So yeah, disappointing.”
