Jackie’s recovery caps off a fine weekend
McNamara’s condition really did put football into perspective. Fans of all Scottish clubs were chipping in to wish him well in his battle. However, this is a big step for the former Celtic right-back.
There’s still plenty of recovery time to go for Jackie, but it was the perfect way to round off a fine weekend for the club. Considering he was also aware enough to post his heartfelt Twitter message online, that also bodes well.
Nothing punches the heart of Celtic fans more than seeing their heroes suffer from injuries and illnesses. There’s no denying that Jackie’s issue caused a huge scare amongst the support and rightly so. It’s just such a positive for the club that he’s made some good steps over the last few weeks since the incident.

Hopefully, things continue to go smoothly for the Hoops great as he continues his recovery. The Celtic fans, as always, will continue to provide their full support in the mean-time.
