Scott Sinclair pleased a lot of Celtic fans when he came off the bench to score in Wednesday night’s thumping of Partick Thistle.
The Englishman, who hadn’t featured for Neil Lennon’s men in almost two months, scored the final goal in the 5-0 win – and then celebrated like he’d just scored the clincher in the World Cup final.
His emotion carried on to Thursday too, when he posted a heartwarming message on Twitter. Sinclair posted an image of himself celebrating the goal and promised that he would “keep fighting for this shirt”.
As you may expect, the Celtic support lapped up his passion for the club as they took to Twitter to thank the winger for his continued desire to succeed. Here are some of the finest replies to Sinclair’s tweet.

Sinclair now has something to prove at Celtic
Sinclair is adored by the majority of the Celtic support because of what he’s given to the club since 2016. In his three and a bit years at the club, he’s score more goals than any other player.
He has been a huge part of one of the greatest periods in our club’s history and should be remembered as such. Hopefully he now has the fire back in his belly to get out and perform for the club.

Neil Lennon may have played an absolute masterstroke by freezing Sinclair out of the team. He will now be forced to work hard to get his chance and that could bring him back to the performance levels of his first season.
A Scott Sinclair with something to prove is a very dangerous proposition indeed.
