Celtic fans are set for a touching tribute as a mark of respect for baby Beibhinn, who recently passed away.

Beibhinn passed away only last week at just eight months old. And supporters are now set to get behind a tribute to the youngster before Saturday’s match against Airdrieonians.

Family friend Lisa Miller posted on social media to encourage supporters to get involved with a planned tribute for the beautiful Beibhinn.

The post encourages supporters attending Saturday’s match against Airdrieonians to release a green balloon in the first minute of the match. This will mark as a touching tribute for the young tot.

For those who perhaps cannot see the post due to technical difficulties, it states the following:

“My friends Kevin and Carla sadly lost their beautiful baby girl Beibhinn this week. The family are huge Celtic supporters and in tribute, fans attending the Airdrie game on 19th are asked to release a green balloon in 1st minute.

“Please support this.

“Sleep tight little lioness.”

The post has also been shared by prominent fans page Celtic YNWA. They state that the parents of young Beibhinn want to thank everyone for their support during what’s been a very difficult time.

Celtic’s match against Airdrieonians marks the first match played since Beinbhinn’s tragic passing.

Many fans have already seen the appeal. We at 67HailHail feel it’s only right, however, to encourage participation ourselves and increase awareness to those who are attending the contest.

It’s sure to be a touching tribute to Beibhinn, and an emotional moment for the family.
