Celtic fans were given the chance to respond to accusations that nobody fears them anymore.
Frank McAvennie claimed that Celtic have lost their ‘fear factor’ following a season of struggle for the Bhoys.
After being dominant for so long, results would suggest that may be the case, but our TalkingPoints users wanted to debate the idea for themselves.

Celtic fans rubbish Frank McAvennie’s nonsense fear factor claims
It will come as no surprise to hear that almost everyone who commented agreed that teams do still fear Celtic.
While poor results may mean other teams have more confidence, supporters think that teams do worry about playing us.
One TalkingPoints user said: “Who cares if teams are scared or not scared of coming to Parkhead? It means nothing other than being another stick for the MSM to beat Celtic with. Are teams scared of Ibrox or Tynecastle? If not being scared meant a team was better when visiting a ground why would any team be scared?”
Another commented: “We have had one bad season and it’s not the players fault, its the board fault not not spending cash. Rodgers said we needed to get stronger and so did our captain. Get a good manager and spend £30m on new players. Hearts will be back to where they belong, third, and we will be top again.”

A third added: “No chance. You see the way teams set up against us and it is obvious they still fear us, even if we’re not at the peak of our powers.”
Some were more sceptical, however, with one fan saying: “Yes, due to the fact the the style of play we play at the back. Playing the ball across the from side to side so teams know that if they attack us we will crumble.”
This person said: “For now, probably a little bit. Will all change next season, you’d think.”
