Celtic fans have recently proved that their commitment to the club is unwavering. Now the support from the fans must be backed up by the club’s actions.
Celtic’s official Twitter account confirmed that season tickets for the upcoming coming 2019/20 season have sold out.
That is great commitment from the Hoops support. Especially when you factor into account the uncertainty over the Hoops managerial situation.
Board must back fans support
Now that the fans have been shown their backing to the club, it is time that the club backed the fans by making some big money moves in the transfer market.
The Celtic support could easily have drifted away following the departure of Brendan Rodgers. But with nine in a row on the horizon, the fans have backed the club once more.
Sign players that are linked with club
Now it is time for the club to support the loyalty rewarding the fans. If the Hoops are able to sign the players they have been linked with, such as David Turnbull and George Baldock, that would be a good start to the summer for the club.
However, should the Hoops fail to land the targets they are looking for, it will be a bad move after the support the fans have given the club.
Celtic have not had the most successful of transfer windows in recent years. Should they rectify that this summer it will be just what the fans deserve.
