Just one Glasgow Derby remains before the end of this season, and it’s set to be played at Celtic Park...
And Barry Ferguson doesn’t think that a single Rangers ticket will be sold for that encounter.
Chaotic scenes after last weekend’s shootout win for Celtic at Ibrox drew nationwide attention, with a widespread pitch invasion leading to various high-profile incidents.
A group of Rangers fans charged towards the away end after Hoops fans invaded the pitch in celebration of the victory. As a result, the ex-Ibrox captain doesn’t expect an away allocation at Parkhead.
How can we ensure that the Glasgow derby can continue having full allocations after the latest incident?
Barry Ferguson on Celtic vs Rangers allocation
On the Five Stars Podcast: Ferguson said: “Well certainly, none of our fans will be in. That’s the way it’s looking.
“You need to wait and see the statements from both clubs. But I think there’ll be 62,000 Celtic fans.

“You won’t have any fans of your own, which is disappointing, but listen, it is what it is.
“You’ve still got to go to Celtic Park and Tynecastle, so there’s some tough fixtures coming up. I try not to look too far ahead.
“You can’t like your mind wandering after a disappointing couple of weeks. We just need to focus on what’s coming up at the weekend.”
After the events of Sunday’s encounter, a good chunk of the Parkhead support would be in favour of banning Rangers fans from the stadium, with this sentiment being vindicated by Ferguson’s statement.
The game was the first return to full Glasgow Derby away allocations since 2017, with 7,500 Hoops fans filling the Broomloan Road Stand.
Derby games have, at times, been played with little or no away support over many of the last eight seasons, with the two clubs in constant dispute over the subject.
At last, an agreement was reached for a standard league allocation of 3,000 last year. Scottish Cup rules allowed for Celtic to request more for the game last week.
After the events that transpire, it now looks like wishful thinking for us to even see 3,000 fans at the games going forward
