Celtic star Mohamed Elyounoussi stunned supporters this evening with a beautiful opening goal for Norway in a big win away to Northern Ireland.
The Hoops winger, on loan from Southampton, superbly controlled former Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen’s glorious pass before tucking the ball home.
The Norwegian has taken his tally to six goals in 25 for his country (Transfermarkt).
Lars Lagerback’s team, which also included Kristoffer Ajer, went on to destroy Ian Baraclough’s outfit 5-1 at Windsor Park.

Elyounoussi has been a regular pick for Neil Lennon in the new Celtic season and this latest effort will hopefully do wonders for his confidence when he returns to Lennoxtown training this week.
He’s scored two goals and assisted another in the early matches this term but like the rest of his teammates hasn’t fully gotten up to speed in Scottish Premiership action.
We need him to produce more and if he can have moments at club level like tonight’s with Norway, it won’t take long for him to be a celebrated member of the first-team following a stop-start 2019/20 campaign.
He isn’t the only Celtic star on the scoresheet tonight either with Odsonne Edouard netting for the French U21s side yet again and Ryan Christie scoring for Scotland.

That’s a big bonus for all three and could ensure they are all in rampant form this weekend against Ross County.
Celtic fans were delighted with Elyounoussi’s effort, taking to Twitter to share their thoughts tonight…
