Celtic fans will be delighted with some recent comments made by Hoops interim manager Neil Lennon. The Hoops boss has vowed to solve an issue which has the potential to damage the club.
The issue is: the leaking of the Hoops starting line-up before games.
Lennon strongly condemned the practice in some comments made to the BBC.
“Letting us down”

“I am aware the team does get leaked and I’m really not happy about it” he said. “Someone is letting us down. I’m not convinced it’s coming from a player.”
It is easy to see why the situation is so upsetting to Lennon. If the leaked team falls into the hands of Celtic’s opponents, it could easily give than an advantage.

Team have kept winning despite leaks
Thankfully none of the leaks have managed to stop the Hoops from reaching the Scottish Cup Final or being within touching distance of winning the league.

However, that does not mean that the club can just forget about the problem. It is vital that it is sorted sooner rather than later.
That is why Celtic fans will be pleased with the leadership shown by Lennon on the matter. He seems determined to solve the problem.
There’s no doubt that the likes of Dermot Desmond and Peter Lawwell will also be impressed with Lennon’s words on the issue.
Could that be a factor in Lennon getting the permanent manager’s role at Celtic Park? Only time will tell.
