Celtic may be home and hosed in Europa League Group E, but that hasn’t stopped the club’s supporters from basking in the glory of another almighty away day.
Neil Lennon’s men will round off their superb group stage campaign away to Cluj next Thursday. The match is effectively a glorified friendly, with top spot already secured, but the team will still be backed by a sold-out Celtic end.
Club supporters liaison officer John Paul Taylor confirmed the news of the sell-out on Thursday after a fan enquired about the status of ticket sales.
Think we got c. 750 and all sold

Cluj clash will be a bizarre one for many Celtic fans
While the allocation of 750 is particularly modest for a Celtic game, it is still a terrific away support for the club to bring to a stadium we have already visited this season.
The match is likely to be a bit of a carnival for the travelling fans with little riding on the result – for us at least. We are through as group winners and can’t move up nor down in the standings – after a remarkable four game winning run. It is the definition of a meaningless match.
Supporters will be able to bask in the glory of Celtic playing away from home, with only the thought of co-efficient points and an extra couple of hundred thousand on their minds.
Many of the team’s top stars are likely to be left in Scotland so the starting XI could have an unfamiliar look to it. But one thing that won’t be unfamiliar in the superb backing that follows the club.
A famous Tommy Burns quote comes to mind.
