Colin Kazim-Richards is set to be named the new manager of League Two club Crawley Town, according to a report.
A failed Celtic signing under Ronny Deila in 2016, the 39-year-old has been working as a specialised attacking coach in Arsenal’s academy over recent years.
Celtic were one of 18 clubs Kazim-Richards played for in an eventful career which saw him pop up in Brazil, the Netherlands and Mexico.
Now, the man nicknamed ‘Big Z’ looks set to take his first step in management.

According to Pete O’Rourke, the English-born Turkey international is to be announced as the man to replace the sacked Scott Lindsey at Broadfield Stadium.
In 2022, the club were bought over by “crypto bro” owners Wagmi United LLC. Last year, a new investment group with ties to the previous one took control.

The recent period has marked an era of constant managerial change at the club.
After securing promotion to League One via the play-offs in 2024, they immediately dropped back down ahead of this season and are now in danger of back-to-back relegations.
At the time of writing, they are without a win in ten matches. The choice of Kazim-Richards, someone with zero dugout experience, certainly seems bizarre.
The ex-Arsenal, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray forward signed for Celtic on Deadline Day of the 2016 winter window, after the disappointing signing of Nadir Ciftci the prior summer.
He scored his first goal for the club in a 2-0 win over East Kilbride a week later, but would score just once again before being released at the end of the season.
