We may still be in the midst of an international break, but the thoughts of the Celtic support will already be drifting to Saturday afternoon and our visit to Hamilton Accies.
Neil Lennon takes his side to Lanarkshire knowing they can move six points clear at the top of the Premiership – albeit probably only for a couple of hours.

Our chances of doing so seem pretty high too when you consider our recent record against the New Douglas Park side.
Celtic should see off Hamilton pretty comfortably
We’ve won each of our last nine matches against Accies, scoring 22 goals and conceding just three. All three of those goals lost were in the 2017/2018 season while we kept Hamilton at bay in all three meetings last year.
Our most recent victory – a 3-0 success in late January – proved to be long-serving boss Martin Canning’s final game in charge. He was promptly replaced by Brian Rice who kept them in the division and has since got them off to a good start this season.

It’s not a match that the Celtic management or players will take lightly. Nor should they. Hamilton have proven that they can make life difficult for any team on their day. However, we should be able to see them off pretty easily given our firepower in attack.
If we can wrap the game nice and early then that will give us a chance to rest some players ahead of the trip to Rennes. That would be a nice luxury to have.
