Celtic star Tom Rogic didn’t just delight supporters on the pitch today but off it too.
Rogic was in imperious form following his return from international duty, scoring two goals in a thumping 4-0 win over Motherwell at Fir Park.
The Australian attacking midfielder is arguably playing the best football of his career right now, taking apart teams with ease in combination with other players in Ange Postecoglou’s system.

Tom Rogic in no mood to entertain Celtic ‘chasing’ Rangers
After the match, he made a rare media appearance on Sky Sports and was immediately asked what it’s like no longer ‘chasing’ Rangers at the ‘top of the pile’ of the Scottish Premiership.
His curt response: “We’ve been top of the pile for the last decade.”
Clearly, he was in no mood to entertain much has changed for him and some of his teammates. The natural order has simply been resumed.
Rogic went on to say: “Last season was obviously disappointing but it’s a familiar position for a lot of us. It’s just about keeping working hard, head down, focus on the next game and don’t get too carried away with it.”
You have to love that Aussie media style don’t you? I’m not sure if Rogic is like this all the time or has simply been taking notes from his manager, but it was a brilliant moment.
It’s also created quite a lot of buzz online, with fans on social media and messageboards loving Rogic’s response to the question.
Here’s hoping more man of the match performances get him in front of the cameras more often!
