There won’t be another like Henrik Larsson at Celtic again.

With Martin O’Neill back in the Celtic dugout, he could do with someone in the current squad trying to even get close to prime Larsson because it would seriously elevate the club amid the current woes.

But whilst O’Neill tries to fix Celtic’s problems again, the man he helped turn into a Parkhead legend appeared on the latest edition of The Overlap, alongside Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Jill Scott, Roy Keane and Ian Wright.

One of the questions aimed at Larsson was around his ‘toughest’ away ground, and he named one in Scotland, but it wasn’t Ibrox, which probably some fans would have suggested, given Celtic’s rivalry with Rangers.

Celtic hero Henrik Larsson reveals his toughest ever stadium is in Scotland

Larsson’s first-ever game as a Celtic player was against Hibernian at Easter Road, and it ended in a 2-1 defeat.

That’s one of the reasons why the Swedish legend put forward Easter Road as the ‘toughest stadium’ he has ever played in.

And remember, Larsson has played in Sweden, the Netherlands, Spain and England during his career, so it’s a positive nod to the Edinburgh side.

Gary Neville: “The toughest stadium you ever played in?”

Larsson: “The toughest stadium I ever played in? Hibs. Easter Road.”

Neville: “You lost that first game, I take it”

Larsson: “Yeah. I never liked to go back there after that. I had a way of feeling.”

Larsson’s record at Easter Road

Larsson will go down as Celtic’s greatest modern-day striker, and one of the best ever to have graced Scotland’s most successful club.

In total, he made 301 appearances for the Hoops, scoring a whopping 227 goals, all as memorable as the next.

But how did he fare at Easter Road, given that he views that at his toughest stadium?
