Celtic heroes Odsonne Edouard and Moussa Dembele took to Twitter to have digs at Rangers after the Hoops won the Scottish Cup in Glasgow yesterday.
Hampden Park was a stunning sight, with Hearts and Celtic supporters doing their respective clubs proud. In the end, it was the Hoops that took the spoils with a hard-fought 2-1 win.
It means that Celtic racked up their third consecutive treble and ninth domestic trophy in-a-row. The treble treble has indeed been won, and it was all thanks to big Edouard’s second-half brace.
And it’s fair to say that both he and former team-mate Dembele enjoyed it. The Lyon man was also clearly watching on yesterday afternoon. It’s unclear whether he was at the game or not, but in any case, he and Edouard took to Twitter to have a little dig at their Glasgow rivals.
Few weeks ago Rangers threw a party for their 6 wins in a row, today we celebrate making history and our 9 trophies in a row… Celtic Treble Treble winners, congrats to both clubs on their achievement 😂🏆🏆🏆 @CelticFC #ThisIsHowItFeelsToBeCeltic 🍀

The baton has been passed, and French Eddy is running with it
When Dembele left for Lyon without a replacement having been signed, it looked a big concern. After all, Celtic had lost the best striker in Scotland, and nobody was of the same quality of Dembele.
Edouard remains a raw prospect, but just look at the debut season he’s had as a permanent Celtic player. Top goalscorer at the club, several crucial last-minute goals, important European strikes, and topped off with yesterday’s brace.
Both men were clearly combining to have a go at Rangers post-match too. A couple of Rangers players took to social media after beating Celtic earlier this month. They claimed that Glasgow was blue, something that was hounded on (The Scotsman). Oh how foolish big Eddy has made them look now.
Glasgow was a true sea of green and white yesterday. The town centre was mobbed with Celtic fans, who lined the streets to celebrate their side’s sheer dominance of Scottish football.
It could be a long time before our rivals are able to boast days like yesterday. Getting a couple of customary digs in post-match yesterday is all fair game in Glasgow.
It was a simply iconic day for the club yesterday. Both big Eddy and Moussa clearly enjoyed every minute of it too.
