Celtic have included new signing Hatem Abd Elhamed in their squad for the upcoming Champions League tie against Cluj. (UEFA)
Neil Lennon’s men take on the Romanians twice over the course of the next eight days, with the first leg away from home on Wednesday evening.
And they’ll be boosted by having Israeli international Abd Elhamed as part of their ranks.

Abd Elhamed will bolster Celtic in Europe
The 28-year-old was largely impressive on his debut at the weekend. Abd Elhamed looked neat and quick in possession while he also defended well when called upon.
The only disappointment from his Celtic Park bow was being taken off at the start of the second-half after suffering a dead leg. He was replaced by Anthony Ralston and, although we still notched a further four goals, we didn’t look quite the same threat on the right-hand side.

Hoops fans will be hoping that Abd Elhamed’s UEFA inclusion means that his injury isn’t severe at all. We’ve gone into our previous European ties with Kristoffer Ajer at right-back so it would make a nice change to have him in the centre of defence in Romania.
Australian youngster Daniel Arzani is the unfortunate one who has made way for Abd Elhamed.
