Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart has sent a classy message to his former team-mate Sergio Aguero, who has today retired from football.
The Argentinian icon made the difficult decision after suffering chest pains while playing for Barcelona in October.
The 33-year-old is best known for his time at Manchester City, where he spent five full years alongside Hart.
And the well-liked Celtic shot-stopper showed his class again, as he sent a message to Aguero, via Sky Sports.
He said: “Kun, sad news mate. But I think it goes without saying that the entire footballing world appreciates you for the player that you are.
“People who have been lucky enough to know you from a personal point of view, you are a great team-mate and a great friend, and I wish you good luck in the future.

“It’s sad but I think it’s important that you look at all the amazing things that you’ve done.
“Good luck for the future, congratulations on an amazing career, and stay safe.”
Hart showed his Celtic class with Aguero mention
Aguero will be best remembered for his dramatic title winning goal for City at the tail end of the 2011/2012 season – right about when Gary Hooper was notching five goals for Celtic against Hearts.
Hart was the goalkeeper seen running about frantically after the magical moment (Aguero’s goal that is) that is without doubt the English Premier League’s greatest moment ever.
Aguero played against Celtic on a few occasions, most notably in the 3-3 Champions League draw at Celtic Park in 2016.
He will be missed as a player. Now that he’s finished playing, maybe he can pop round and see his old pal for a game at Celtic Park.
