Celtic have been drawn against Hearts in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup. The match will be played at Tynecastle on the weekend of March 11th.

The other ties making up the full draw are Inverness CT vs Kilmarnock, Rangers vs Raith Rovers and Darvel or Falkirk vs Ayr United.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have made their way through to this round after confident home victories over Greenock Morton and St Mirren. The Bhoys look good value for a deep run in the tournament as part of a potential treble push, but it will likely be a stern test in Edinburgh.

All four quarter-finals will be shown live on television across Viaplay Sports and the BBC.

Viaplay have the first options on the matches they want to show, which you’d think would include Celtic, going by previous rounds.

The exact time and date of the games will not be known until those broadcast selections are made.

Celtic FC Women also draw Hearts away

Today, the Scottish FA conducted the first-ever double draw in the Scottish Cup with the Celtic FC Women side also finding out their knockout fate this evening.

After strong wins over Falkirk and Boroughmuir Thistle in previous rounds, Fran Alonso’s outfit will continue their defence of the Scottish Women’s Cup with a tie away to Hearts.

The match will be played on the weekend of Sunday 29th March.

The other ties making up the full draw of that tournament are Glasgow Women vs Motherwell, Rangers vs Hibernian and Kilmarnock vs Glasgow City.
