The SPFL have released the Scottish Premiership fixture list for 2025/26 and Celtic have learned when they will face Rangers.
Flag Day and the first Glasgow Derby fixture against Rangers is generally the first date in the new season calendar Celtic fans look out for every season.
Last August, Celtic hammered Kilmarnock on Flag Day and kicked off the season in style with a big 4-0 win over Derek McInnes’ side.
The first Glasgow Derby date of the season was at Celtic Park where the Bhoys thrashed Rangers 3-0 to draw first blood against the Ibrox club.

Who Celtic will face to kick off the 2025/26 Scottish Premiership season
Celtic will face St Mirren on the opening weekend which will be live on Sky Sports on the 4th of August.
Brendan Rodgers faced The Buddies on four occasions last season winning three and drawing the final match on Trophy Day 1-1.

- 05.01.2025:Celtic 3 v 0 St Mirren
- 01.03.2025: St. Mirren 2 v 5 Celtic

Celtic’s first Scottish Premiership game vs Rangers in season 2025/26
Celtic will face Rangers at Ibrox on August the 31st with the usual standard 12pm kick-off with the game broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Celtic will face Aberdeen away and newly promoted Livingston at home before the big Glasgow Derby date.
