Celtic hero Lubo Moravcik will not be appearing at this weekend’s festival.

The Slovakian legend was nailed down as one of the many guest stars on show. Unfortunately, the little magician has had to cancel his spot at the 11th hour.

The club have announced that Moravcik is attending a sudden family matter instead. Quick off the mark, the club are bringing another legend in to replace him.

A whole host of stars and players are going on show over the weekend by the Clyde side.

One guest announced early on was Slovakian magician, Moravcik. The 29 goal attacking midfielder is one man fans were definitely looking forward to see.

The 54-year-old is a man who still keeps the Hoops close at heart for revitalising his career in the late 90s.

Moravcik made his shock debut against Rangers, scoring two goals in a 5-1 thumping of the arch rivals at Parkhead.

Unfortunately, family circumstances mean that Moravcik will not be in Glasgow this weekend.

The club announced last night that the Hoops hero is not going to be attending. Nevertheless, Celtic are bringing in another suitable legend to fill Lubo’s spot.

Celtic announce quality street replacement

The legend stepping into Lubo’s massive shoes is full-back Danny McGrain.

Formerly a member of the backroom staff, McGrain will once again represent Celtic.

National team chances were slim for various reasons but McGrain controlled the Celtic wings for 439 appearances.

Other heroes are going to be in attendance to join McGrain at the SEC.

Fellow right-back Jackie McNamara will be there as will captain Scott Brown and a whole host of other names past and present.

Everyone will be hoping the event goes down a storm and can be an annual event.
