Celtic loanees Tobi Oluwayemi, Johnny Kenny and Yosuke Ideguchi will get their league campaigns up and running this weekend.
The loan system has proved valuable for Celtic in the past, with players such as Callum McGregor, Ryan Christie, and Kristoffer Ajer kickstarting their Hoops career following a temporary spell.
It can also be important for players looking to rebuild their reputation with regular game time before returning or being sold further down the line.

Currently, the Bhoys have 12 players out on loan, differing from impressive academy youngsters to players in desperate need of first-team football.
Fringe players, including Mikey Johnston and Adam Montgomery, find themselves out on loan at this moment in time, and there is a chance of a future for those academy graduates.
Whilst the likes of Vasilis Barkas and Albian Ajeti are also out on temporary spells, looking to rebuild their reputation after a disappointing spell at Celtic.
Three players who recently found a loan move and are set to get their league campaigns underway are academy hopefuls Tobi Oluwayemi and Johnny Kenny, as well as outcast midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi.
Having not yet made a competitive appearance for the Celtic first team, both Oluwayemi and Kenny’s loan spells could be regarded as development moves with the view of a potential future at Parkhead.
Oluwayemi is believed to be highly rated, and the goalkeeper will get his season underway with Cork City tomorrow night as the Irish side take on Bohemians.

This could be an extremely valuable spell for the Englishman up until the summer, with his first taste of senior football outside of the Lowland League.
Playing in the same league, Kenny will be playing with Irish champions Shamrock Rovers for at least the next six months and potentially longer.
The striker made his first competitive start for the club last week in the FAI President’s Cup, which ended in defeat for Shamrock. But his first league appearance could come in two days’ time.
After a frustrating spell at Queens Park, it is now another good opportunity to earn first-team minutes for the Irishman, and his first league start could come on Saturday evening against boyhood club Sligo Rovers.
Elsewhere, Yosuke Ideguchi could also make his first competitive start since January 2022 after joining his hometown club Avispa Fukuoka earlier this month.
The Japanese international is in desperate need of minutes after an unfortunate 12 months amongst Ange Postecoglou’s squad, which was plagued by injuries.

His new club’s first league fixture comes on Saturday, and they will kick off the new J-League season with a game against Vissel Kobe.
It should be interesting to see how all three players do, not only this weekend but for the entirety of their loan spells in Ireland and Japan.
The trio are at different stages of their Celtic careers, and this is now a good chance to get some regular game time out on loan.
We wish them all the best of luck ahead of this weekend’s games!
