Celtic winger Marian Shved has impressed for Belgian side KV Mechelen in a Friday friendly against KAA Gent.
The 23-year-old has had a difficult time in Belgium since making a summer loan switch from the Hoops, missing matches and only getting action off the bench.
However, he could be in line to start future matches after impressing in a closed-doors game during the international break.
The club’s match report states he started to threaten and make an impact on the match in the second half.
He combined well with a teammate in the build-up to their first goal, before slotting home to make it 2-0 and secure the victory against the Europa League group stage side.
Encouragingly when it comes to Shved’s fitness, he also played all 90 minutes of the encounter.

We always like to see loan players do well at other clubs and hopefully this is the start of a fruitful season for the Ukrainian international.
He’s yet to make a competitive start for Neil Lennon’s Bhoys, but who knows what the future holds if he shines in the Belgian top-flight consistently?
Celtic aren’t exactly blessed with amazing depth on the flanks as it stands.
His progress will be worth keeping a watchful eye on as the weeks and months roll by.
