New Celtic recruit Christopher Jullien seems to be settling in to his new surroundings just fine.

The big central-defender may only have made his debut in Saturday’s friendly draw with Rennes, but he already seems to be at home. Jullien seems to be bonding well with former Toulouse teammate Odsonne Edouard and another attacker judging by a recent photo.

The 26-year-old has been described as a Scott Sinclair lookalike in his opening weeks at the Hoops, and he’s responded positively to the claims. Jullien took to Twitter to post an image of himself, Sinclair and Edouard at Lennoxtown.

It’s easy to see where the doppelganger chat has come from.

Celtic fans will just be hoping that the 6ft 5in giant doesn’t pop up on the left-wing anytime soon.

Jullien is settling in well at Celtic Park

Taking a more serious attitude to things, it is great to see Jullien settling in and getting on with his new teammates so quickly. The defender is going to be a massive part of our side this coming season so it’s important he’s in the best place he can be.

It may have been difficult for him meeting his new teammates at first but having Edouard by his side would have helped.

Celtic fans will just be hoping they can get a look at their new man in a competitive match on Wednesday. It seems the ideal opportunity for Jullien to take his European bow.
