New Celtic recruit Greg Taylor will join Rangers man Jordan Jones as part of a kids football camp run by footballer Dom Thomas.

Thomas knows the pair from their time at Kilmarnock last season and has called upon their experience to help aspiring kids who want to better their football skills during the October week.

His ‘Soccer School’ Twitter page announced that Celtic man Taylor would be in attendance alongside Jones.

Celtic fans would like to see Taylor in action soon

While the kids at Thomas’ camp will undoubtedly be delighted to see £3million Taylor around, the Celtic support wouldn’t mind getting a glimpse of him later this month either. The Scotland international has now missed seven consecutive Celtic matches since joining at the start of last month.

Taylor has only been on the bench once in that time, against his former side Kilmarnock, and he may be starting to get a little frustrated about his lack of playing time.

He’s away with the Scotland national team at present but may find game time tough to come by with Andy Robertson ahead of him in the left-back pecking order. But given that he hasn’t played a minute of football since the middle of August he may feel that some game time is pretty important.

It would be good to get Taylor a start in one of the first matches after the break, if only to see what he can do. Boli Bolingoli is improving with every passing week it seems but many feel that Taylor may still be a better option. Time will tell if Neil Lennon feels the same way.

However, for now if you’re wanting to catch the sight of Greg Taylor playing football – you’ll have to be a keen youngster.
