Robbie Keane has emerged on Celtic’s radar following the departure of Brendan Rodgers last Monday evening.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that Keane’s name has been put on the table, because he is a former Celtic player, and he is going strong at Hungarian side Ferencvaros.
67 Hail Hail sources revealed last month that Keane had ‘applied’ for the vacant gig in Glasgow, after winning the title in Hungary last season.
But it’s not the only job in Britain that the former Republic of Ireland international has signed up for.

Robbie Keane applies for the Wolves job after Vitor Pereira’s sacking
Whilst Keane had a short spell in Glasgow, he started his playing career at Wolves, and they have also been busy, like Celtic.
The Midlands side sacked Vitor Pereira as their manager over the weekend following their defeat to Fulham on Saturday afternoon.
It leaves Wolves rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table, and without a win in ten matches, as relegation to the Championship is a real possibility.
But according to sources from our colleagues at Molineux News, Keane has also applied for the Wolves job, in what they deem a ‘surprising development.’
Brendan Rodgers to make an instant return after his Celtic exit?
The manner in which Rodgers left Celtic was brutal because Dermot Desmond personally made sure he knew how he felt.
What’s interesting is that Celtic fans haven’t officially heard anything from Rodgers yet, as many are curious to see how he responds to Desmond’s public verbal bashing.
But whilst that remains in the background, Rodgers’ name has also been linked with the Wolves job, and it seems as though he is open to the move.
