Celtic manager Neil Lennon has refused to be drawn on Rangers’ transfer business after media probing on Tuesday evening, The Scottish Sun report.
Both the Hoops and the Ibrox club have had very busy transfer windows over the last few months.
Celtic made 14 first-team and development signings, while Steven Gerrard added 11 players to his squad.
Lennon though is not interested in comparisons. That’s despite journalists trying to draw him into commenting directly on the business Rangers have done.
Asked to comment on their transfer window, the 48-year-old told The Scottish Sun: “We have no interest in what Rangers are doing.
“Well I certainly don’t, especially off the back of a great performance and a great win.
“I can’t control what other teams do. Who they bring in or what they spend. We control what we do and I’m pretty happy with the results.”

Rating our transfer window
Lennon is right of course. Our entire focus should be on what we’re capable of rather than worrying what our rivals do. Rangers are no doubt taking the same.
So how have we done?
Well the entire defence has had a much needed rebuild. We lost experienced and important players across the defensive line between seasons.
Kieran Tierney, Dedryck Boyata and Mikael Lustig were the most notable departures, although we lost significant depth behind that trio too.
Celtic though have mostly done the business required and we can be happy with the squad in place heading deeper into the season. Christopher Jullien, Hatem Abd Elhamed and others all look like good acquisitions.
There’s an argument to say we should have brought in players much earlier than we did, but there is now real optimism, so it’s best not to linger on that too much.
Also adding quality like Mohamed Elyounoussi in attacking areas, we’re well equipped for another trophy charge this term.
Bring it on.
