Celtic wide men James Forrest and Scott Sinclair appear on the world’s top scoring midfielders list.
The table, conducted by Transfermarkt shows the on-target middle men this season.
On the list are big names such as Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus and Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.
The Hoops are the only club with two players on the list making them unique.

@brunofernandes.10 broke the record of @franklampard yesterday. 27-year-old Forrest has grabbed 17 goals in all competitions this season for the Hoops.
Likewise, Sinclair has got the same amount of goals as the Scot but with far less playing time.
Perhaps fans and the management are being a tad harsh on the English winger who continues to contribute highly.
Only Reus, Sevilla’s Pablo Sarabia and Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes are ahead of them.
However, the Hoops have a far earlier season than their competitors and have played more games.
Nevertheless, even to be on a list among the world’s greats is a massive feat for The Bhoys.
However, with Sinclair’s future up in the air, a result like this at the end of the season will help him highly.
Scott Sinclair for a new deal?
The former player of the season will be entering the final year of his current Celtic deal.
It’s not known whether the Hoops will want to see some form of a cash-in or if the Englishman wants to stay.
He has been in and out the team this season and that includes before Brendan Rodgers’ departure.
Critics say he is playing with low confidence and it’s effecting his performance but with high numbers, that is not the case.
However, football isn’t played on paper and Sinclair will be the first to admit he could have scored even more goals.
With other wingers such as Lewis Morgan and Maryan Shved coming, will Sinclair’s time be even more limited?
This is a conundrum for whoever takes over in the summer – and even that is to be determined.
