It was revealed by Danish website Bold.DK that Ankersen is available for sale. Now Tuttomaercatoweb is reporting that Milan are interested in signing the player.

The reported fee is €2 million, which is less than £2 million. That seems like a bargain for an experienced right-back.
Celtic have been credited with an interest in the player for a good while. The Scottish Sun revealed that the Hoops were interested in signing the player back in June.
Celtic can offer potential Champions League football
It has to be said, that at the moment Celtic have just as much to offer a player as Milan have. The Italian giants don’t offer the chance to play in the Champions League. At this moment in time, Celtic do.
Also, signing Ankersen ahead of Milan would be a sign that Celtic are willing to go head to head with one of Europe’s biggest clubs and come out on top.
That would be a real boost to the Hoops support. Milan might not be having the success they once had, but they are still a big club.
