Odsonne Edouard’s happiness may not be Celtic’s number one priority when it comes to a potential sale of Olivier Ntcham this summer, but there’s an argument it should be.
The out of favour midfielder has been linked with a move away from the club this summer with Marseille the latest side to be linked.

Ntcham’s departure wouldn’t be a great loss for the Celtic first team. The 23-year-old featured in only half of Celtic’s league matches with his top performances few and far between. However, his loss could be felt by fellow Frenchman Edouard.
The forward, who netted 23 goals during the season, is best pals with Ntcham and regularly seen hanging about with him away from the pitch. Ntcham’s decline in performance has been attributed to Moussa Dembele leaving the club last year so Celtic must do their best to avoid a repeat.

Our talisman
Edouard is going to be our main man next season so the club need to look to do everything they can to please him. The Frenchman has already answered questions over his hefty price tag by scoring crucial goals in crucial games.

Now he has to find some consistency in the run of the mill matches. Celtic can help him by making sure he’s always first pick when fit. If everything comes together for the 21-year-old then there’s no reason why he can’t beat his 23 goal tally next season.
