Joe Hart retired from football at the end of the season and will be remembered fondly by Celtic supporters after becoming an iconic figure at Parkhead.
The 37-year-old bowed out winning a domestic double, earning the fairytale end that his career deserved in front of an adoring fanbase.
Overall, Hart made 153 appearances for Celtic, conceding under a goal a game and keeping 64 clean sheets in the process [Transfermarkt].
Despite being one of the best goalkeepers in the world across the 2010s, he immersed himself in the club and showed an insatiable hunger for success, forming an ideal match with an institution that demands silverware every year.
Having enjoyed a few weeks of rest, Hart will jet off to Germany and be part of the BBC’s punditry team for EURO 2024, which begins later this week.

Now, Celtic have released a brilliant video commemorating his successful three-year spell at the Scottish Premiership champions.
Celtic’s brilliant social media post thanking Joe Hart
On social media platform X, Celtic have posted a brilliant montage just over three minutes long paying tribute to Hart, with several of his finest moments and interviews present in the video.
Accompanying a message that read ‘Thank You Joe’ at the end of the clip, the club posted a message that read: “153 appearances. 3 League Titles, 2 Scottish Cups, 2 Scottish League Cups. Thank you, Joe. Best of luck in your retirement!”
Celtic will keep on moving forward regardless of personnel; however, it is hard to imagine watching Brendan Rodgers’ men without his towering figure between the sticks.
Sometimes, a player and a club just click, with a collective understanding of values being central to producing a fruitful relationship.
It may sound cliche, but Hart got Celtic. His passion was reflected in his performances on the pitch, and his winning mentality offered invaluable experience to the group, factoring in his previous exploits south of the border.
Without a doubt, every supporter will wish him the best in retirement, and the rapport between both parties will be an eternally positive one.
