Celtic have booked their place in the Scottish Cup semi-final after beating Hibs at Parkhead.
Brendan Rodgers booked another date at Hampden as he watched his Bhoys do a professional job on the capital club just over two weeks after losing to Hibs at Easter Road.
The Celtic manager would have liked to have settled the result earlier in the game, but a first-half goal from Daizen Maeda and a late strike from Adam Idah were enough to get Celtic into another major domestic cup final.
So, with that in mind, here are 67 Hail Hail’s player ratings as Brendan Rodgers leads Celtic to another Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden.

Celtic player ratings as Brendan Rodgers books another Hampden Scottish Cup date
Kasper Schmeichel – 6
The big Danish goalkeeper didn’t have much to do but did pull off an important save in the 18th minute. A dubious Hibs throw-in caught Celtic off-guard, but Schmeichel was alert and made a crucial stop to keep the scores level at 0-0.
Alistair Johnston – 7
The Canadian was superb as Johnston continued his attacking partnership with Nicolas Kuhn on the Celtic right flank. Almost created an assist early in the second half as the marauding fullback caused Hibs problems all afternoon.
Cameron Carter-Vickers – 7
Carter-Vickers was in great form again as the Celtic defender put in another calm and assured performance in the heart of the Hoops defence.
Auston Trusty – 5
The American defender had a wee bit of a shaky afternoon with a few slack passes as Trusty still looks to be suffering from a lack of confidence. Needs to stop the shirt-pulling as it’s becoming a bit of a feature in his game.
Jeffrey Schlupp – 8

Schlupp put in another solid performance and pleads his case again for Brendan Rodgers to offer him a deal when his Crystal Palace contract ends in the summer. Strong in the tackle, a real attacking threat, the Ghanaian was superb again as he keeps Greg Taylor out of the Celtic starting lineup.
Callum McGregor – 7
The Celtic captain was assured again as he ran the midfield for the Hoops. McGregor’s passing was on point, he never gave the ball away and he was solid as he helped book another Hampden date. Replaced by Luke McCowan in the 75th minute.
Reo Hatate – 5
The Japanese midfielder had another tough afternoon with some slack passing and loose play. Hatate did have a rasping first-half shot saved and almost created a first-half assist for Maeda, but he did look disappointed with his performance.
Arne Engels – 6
Engels had a decent game but never really delivered his usual defence-splitting passes that fans have been used to. The Belgians deadball delivery did cause Hibs problems.
Nicolas Kuhn – 8
The German winger was a pest all afternoon and was a constant thorn in the Hibs’ side. Kuhn is credited with an assist after his second-half shot was saved, only for Maeda to pounce and open the scoring. Searing pace continually pierced the Hibs defence. Replaced by Adam Idah in the 84th minute.
Jota – 7
Jota looks like he’s getting back to his best, and his fitness is building as the Portuguese winger gave Hibs’ Nicky Cadden a tough first half. Was unlucky not to score after a superb mazy run in the second half. Replaced by Hyunjun Yang in the 75th minute
Daizen Maeda – 8

What can be said about Maeda that hasn’t already been said? The Japanese winger-turned-striker had a relatively quiet first half but was still lively with his pressing. The 27-year-old was as sharp as ever as he latched onto Nicolas Kuhn’s saved shot to score the opening goal. Should have made it 3-0 with a gilt-edged chance with just seconds to go.
Hyunjun Yang (sub) – 6
Earning a reputation as a Celtic supersub, Yang looked lively in the short time he was on the pitch. Continually pressed the Hibs defence but couldn’t break them down. Scuffed a great chance to put the game to bed late in the second-half.
Luke McCowan (sub) – 7
Replaced the Celtic captain and created the assist for Adam Idah’s goal, Celtic’s second with some great attacking intent. McCowan’s passing was crisp and did break down a couple of Hibs attacks. Another very good cameo.
Adam Idah (sub) – 7
The big Irishman was introduced late into the game to replace Kuhn and repaid Rodgers’ faith with a tidy little finish to put the game beyond Hibs and book the Hampden semi-final. A good confidence-boosting cameo from the big Irishman.
