Discipline is a very important part of football.
For Brendan Rodgers, having 11 men out on the pitch is vital to their success and helps his tactics to thrive.
Thankfully, nobody has been shown a red card for the Bhoys this season, but there are a few Celtic players who have been given a yellow.
Eight players have been punished, but only two have more than one yellow card.

Every Celtic player to be yellow carded in the 2025/26 season
Leading the way at the top of the charts this season is Liam Scales and Arne Engels.
Both have been booked twice this season, with Engels a more surprising one to see given that he has largely spent the season being introduced as a substitute.
Six others have also been booked this season, with Daizen Maeda, Benjamin Nygren, Kelechi Iheanacho, Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate and Cameron Carter-Vickers all being brandished a yellow.
Having played over 10 games in all competitions, it can be considered as a positive that less than half of the squad has been cautioned.

What is the Scottish Premiership’s yellow card rule?
The Scottish Football Association have a series of rules in relation to the number of yellow cards accumulated over the season.
As per the Scottish FA website, a player receives a one-match ban for accumulating five yellow cards in the first 19 matches of the season.
Players are then suspended for two matches if they get 10 yellow cards by the 32nd game, and a three-match ban is given for 15 yellow cards by the 38th game.
Thankfully, none of the Celtic stars are in any danger of reaching that threshold at this point.
