Ange Postecoglou has now joined the Celtic managerial greats after his Treble success at Hampden yesterday. The Australian manager will be remembered alongside the greats of Jock Stein, Martin O’Neill, Brendan Rodgers and Neil Lennon after lifting the Scottish Cup.
And this afternoon, Celtic posted stunning footage from all of these legends’ treble-winning teams as the club celebrate an unprecedented eighth domestic treble.
There were so many iconic moments in that clip. It was hard to keep up. From hearing the immortal words of Jock Stein to that famous chip from Henrik Larsson in the 6-2 Glasgow Derby back in 2000. The Celtic fans can look back at this achievement with a sense of pride and great satisfaction.
Celtic’s 3-1 win against Inverness Caley Thistle yesterday wasn’t a classic Scottish Cup Final by any manner of means. But the team did their job professionally. And they have proven, once again, that when it matters and they need to pull out a result, they step up to the mark and never let us down.

Never in the history of football has a club completed this accomplishment and as we continue to break records, others can only dream of hitting the levels that we have aspired to over the last 23 years.
Jock Stein is Celtic’s greatest-ever manager. Of that, there is no question. And whilst no one will be able to match what the legendary Celtic boss has ever done, Ange Postecoglou can stand shoulder to shoulder with him after yesterday’s Scottish Cup win.
Now the Celtic fans look forward to next week when they will hope to have some update as to what the future holds for the club regarding Ange Postecoglou.
But whatever happens, if the Celtic boss does leave, he will go with every fan’s best wishes after he rescued us from the mess he inherited back in 2021.
